The Checklist brings misinformation news from around the world. Every month we focus on developments impacting the quality of online information. This includes updates related to social media platforms, highlights from news deserts, news related to the impact of misinformation on communities and innovative efforts made by fact-checkers, newsrooms and individuals to address the quality and access of information.

The Checklist is brought to you by Meedan. Meedan is a non-profit that focuses on improving the quality and equity of online information. We do this by building software and designing human-powered initiatives for newsrooms, NGOs and academic institutions.
